The Flyer Wall

Everyone has seen a flyer wall covered with flyers for everything from rooms for rent to great local businesses. Paul Dixon, a web desginer in the UK has taken a new approach to this old form of advertising with his new website. The home page of the website serves as the "flyer wall" and is covered with "flyers" from a variety of businesses. Flyers start at 62x62 pixels for £25 ($45) and go up from there.
Wi-Fi Detector Shirt

Here at ThinkGeek we're pretty lazy when it comes to technology. We expect our gadgets to do all the busywork while we focus on the high level important tasks like reading blogs. That's why we hate to have to crack open our laptops just to see if there is any wi-fi internet access about... and keychain wi-fi detectors, we would have to actually remove them from our pockets to look at them. But now thanks to the ingenious ThinkGeek robot monkeys you can display the current wi-fi signal strength to yourself and everyone around you with this stylish Wi-Fi Detector Shirt. The glowing bars on the front of the shirt dynamically change as the surrounding wi-fi signal strength fluctuates. Finally you can get the attention you deserve as others bow to you as their reverential wi-fi god, while geeky chicks swoon at your presence. You can thank us later.
Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard (BTVKB)

You can use the BTVKB with both your laptop and PC and with a compatible bluetooth mobile device, compatible Smartphone and PDA.The virtual laser keyboard works by using both infrared and laser technology to produce an invisible circuit and project a full-size virtual QWERTY keyboard on to any surface. The virtual PC keyboard behaves exactly like a real one: direction technology based on optical recognition enables the user to tap the images of the keys, complete with realistic tapping sounds(!), which feeds into the compatible PDA, Smartphone, laptop or PC via bluetooth. A Bluetooth dongle or compatible device is required.

Wolf Claw Type II Gaming Keyboard

For many, the appeal of the FPS lies in immersive frantic blasting with a touch of verisimilitude, humour, puzzle-solving and claustrophobia. For others, the single player mode in story oriented games can have compelling narratives which allow for added element of drama in the games, while the majority are just insanely hooked by the online multiplayer play mode that generates the excitement and thrills of pitting their skills against different gamers from various background. Wild Planet Spy Gear Spy® Vision Goggles
Items like these "spy vision" goggles are immensely popular, in part because kids expect the same results they see on the big screen or cartoons. The goggles look cool enough (which may be all that matters anyway) but don't expect much. The adjustable head strap is fashionably padded, with a techno-looking pack in the rear. The pack actually just holds batteries. The key feature, however, is the eye-catching, acid-green lens. They are useless for deflecting UV rays, exploring underwater, or--not so surprising--penetrating darkness. What penetrates the darkness are two small, small light bulbs, dressed up in nifty pop-out compartments on each side. The goggles, though, to their credit, make everything appear cool and eerie--including the wearer. That's fun even without real spy vision. Required: 4 "AAA" batteries.PhotoStamps

Sony Ericsson K890i Cybershot

Over at Mobile-Review forums, user “chefzx” posted his idea of the future Sony Ericsson Cybershot phone. According to him, the Sony Ericsson K890i should be the single best mobile shooter on the market, sporting 7 MP camera with auto lens cover. Furthermore, this device is the first Cybershot phone with a slider form factor. The logic is obvious — larger images require larger screen.
Sony Ericsson swiveling cameraphone
Even if this is for real it's probably going to be exclusively for the Japanese market, but check out this concept design for a new Sony Ericsson cellphone that sports an unusual dual-hinged screen that swivels and folds down when you want to use the phone like a camera. The design looks to be a copy of the one used on the "Jupiter" WinCE tablet, the Vadem Clio. The rights to that laptop design have been sold to Data Evolutions for their reincarnation, the Clio NXT

Sony Ericsson concept phone

Suzuki Kizashi
This is the first image of the Suzuki Kizashi concept car, which is tipped to be the forerunner of the marque's first mid-range family car.The concept will be shown for the first time at this September's Frankfurt motor show.
Suzuki hopes it will go into production in late 2009 or early 2010 and that it will help the company break out of the market for smaller cars and 4x4s.It is bigger than the Suzuki SX4 and, although sales will initially focus on Japan and America, it is expected to go on sale in the UK.Kizashi is Japanese for foretaste or prelude, a name designed to underline that the concept remains in the early stages of design.

Suzuki Biplane
As the name implies, Suzuki designed the Biplane to capture the feeling of flying an airplane. The concept is sure to get plenty of lift from its 1,000cc V-4. Just hope you don't actually leave the ground.Even if the execution of biplane inspiration is questionable, this thing is flipping gorgeous. I'm quite certain a twenty minute ride would have you begging for the sweet release of death, but you would look really cool during those twenty minutes. Just think of all the broken necks you'd cause in the unsuspecting streets.

Nissan Forum Concept
Nissan released a sketch of the Forum, a concept vehicle the firm will unveil at the Detroit Motor Show in January.Created at Nissan Design America, the Forum concept offers innovations such as trackless sliding doors and no B-pillars. It is said to 'explore the next generation of family transportation'. While we're not exactly sure what that entails, it's probably safe to assume that the concept will feature some of the styling cues seen on the company's concept cars unveiled in Tokyo. We'll keep you updated in our Detroit Auto Show Highlights once we've seen it in the metal.
Thermalright VGA Backside Cooler HR-11
Despite its snicker-inducing name, Thermalright’s VGA Backside Cooler HR-11 takes an unusual approach to cooling hot-running graphics cards such as the GeForce 8800 series. The card’s graphics processor may have a heat sink and fan mounted on one side, but heat radiates out the rear side of the card from beneath the chip, too. This passive heat-pipe/heat-sink combination fastens to the back of your graphics card, wicking away even more heat from the chip than the stock cooler can alone. See Thermalright’s site for card compatibility.

Located on the Champs-Élysées, the flagship store integrates a fully computerized experience into a matte black interior. With just a few steps walking and running on a catwalk-style scanner, foot and pressure sensors analyze shape, size and pressure points. Customers enter details like color and accents on a large touch screen. An interactive "virtual mirror" (recently on Gizmodo), allows the user to try on their personalized shoe (or any other shoe) without taking off their own. And last but not least, the new scan table picks up RFID technology embedded in the shoes to display specific product information.

A few hours after Google's dramatic announcement which some sources had still been anticipating as a mobile phone bearing the Google brand, we actually know less about Android than we did -- or thought we did -- at 11:00 this morning when it was announced. During a midday press conference featuring key Google executives including CEO Eric Schmidt, reporters called into question most of the principal facts surrounding the new Open Handset Alliance - most importantly, the ingredients of the Android platform.
